It is a Japanese light book series written and illustrated by Shinji Cobkubo, with world-building artwork by mocha. Since March 2018, Dengeki Bunko has released eight volumes from ASCII Media Works. Yen Press has licensed the light novel in North America. Square Enix’s online manga magazine Manga UP! serialized an adaptation with art by Ysuke Takahashi from April 2019 to March 2021. In total, there were four tankbon volumes. After the first volume is finished in December 2021, the second volume will begin serialization in the same magazine. Anime TV show adaption by OZ will premiere in January 2022.

An anime television series adaptation of the series will be produced by OZ, it was announced during the “Kadokawa Light Novel Expo 2020” event on March 6, 2021. In addition to directing the series, Sadayuki Murai has written the show’s screenplay, Ai Asari and Ikariya have designed the characters, and Takeshi Ueda and Hinako Tsubakiyama have composed the show’s soundtrack.
