Kate Middleton has once again captured the hearts of the British people after delivering a haunting message on World Children’s Day. Prince William’s wife receives a lot of praise from royal fans, which puts her in the spotlight and puts Meghan Markle out of the spotlight.
Kate never misses an opportunity to talk about real issues instead of focusing on family matters as others accuse Meghan of. The future queen consort shares a series of snapshots on Twitter to promote children’s togetherness and awareness of their well-being.
Investing in a child is ultimately an investment in our future social health and happiness, she said. The post includes a photo she took while visiting the Natural History Museum’s Wildlife Garden earlier this year.
The Duchess of Cambridge’s message comes after Meghan’s appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. According to Geo TV, a public relations specialist revealed that fans expect the same positive attitude from Prince Harry’s wife instead of giving high profile interviews and talking about the royal family.
The former actress’ conversation with the controversial presenter seems like a lighter twist on the interview she and her husband had with Oprah Winfrey in March. If she avoids talking like that on national television, the public relations specialist believes the UK public might like her.
Meanwhile, Meghan is said to be the least popular member of the royal family, aside from Prince Andrew, a Newsweek poll shows. Fifty-one percent of UK adults see her negatively, which results in her being unpopular among other royals of her generation.
Only 27% see her as positive, which gives her a net approval rating of -24. The data collected comes from 1,500 UK adults.
Prince Harry, on the other hand, receives 38% positive and 37% negative ratings with a net approval rating of +1. The Sussexes are said to be way behind Prince William and Kate.
Sixty-six percent of Britons see the Duke of Cambridge positively while only 11% see him negatively. He has a net approval rating of + 55%.
On the other hand, Kate is viewed positively by 67% and only 11% dislike her. It has a net approval rate of + 56%.
These numbers are of course very different from what Meghan and Prince Harry are getting today. Before they decided to give up their royal duties in January 2020, the British saw the Duchess of Sussex at least 55% positive, while the Duke of Sussex was 71%.
